Structure
Composite-faced sandwich
Cork’s high compression resilience strengthens the sandwich structure, protecting against buckling, snapping, abrasion, and natural wear, extending the board’s lifespan.
Construction Method
Precision-Engineered
Vacuum-bonding an XPS core to carbon-and-cork composite surfaces with epoxy resin. The shape is crafted only after the structure is fully compacted.
Materials
Reduced, Reused, Recyclable
Natural cork and cork agglomerate. Water-based finishing varnish. 6 oz carbon fiber off-cuts from the factory floor. Epoxy resin with 40% organic content. XPS 35 kg/m³, 100% waterproof and recyclable.
Production
Healthier, low-impact environment
No acetone used. Releases 97% less dust than in normal board fabrication.
